◆About the nature of the product
・Due to the nature of the material and manufacturing process, the surface of the tableware may show differences in color and shade of glaze.
・Since the entire process is done by hand, the size, thickness, and other aspects of the product will vary from one to another. We hope you will enjoy the unique texture of this handmade product.
◆After purchase
Please make sure to stop the glazing (boiling with rice water). Pottery is made of coarse clay and dirt can easily seep into it, causing mold and stains.
The rice starch fills in the grain on the surface, making it harder for stains to penetrate.
◆When using the product
Soak it in clean water to make it absorb moisture to prevent stains from sticking to it.
Soaking for 5 to 10 minutes can also reduce the adhesion of dirt.
◆After using the product
Immediately wash it with detergent, wipe it with a dry cloth, and dry it well before storing it. If left damp, it may cause mold and odor.
◆If you are concerned about dirt or odor
Even if you use it carefully, food stains and tea stains may soak into it. If you are concerned about stains or smells, soak the product in a mixture of 4 tablespoons of baking soda and 1 tablespoon of vinegar per 1 liter of water.
